Texoma Bully Outreach organizes area Bull Breed owners to promote responsible pet ownership.
By giving our dogs a safe outlet for socialization and training, we will have happier dogs at home. By bringing our message to the public, we will create a better environment for Bull Breeds in Texas and Oklahoma.
All of the Bull Breeds and mixes are welcome. Pedigrees are not required. Because the American Pit Bull Terrier is one of the most popular breeds in this country, we expect APBTs to outnumber other breeds at our gatherings. Many people with Boxers, Chow Chows, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers and German Shepherds are made to feel uncomfortable in public due to the stigma against these breeds. You are welcome to join us, because we are all in the same boat.
At this time there are no dues, but there will be a nominal charge or donations at events in order to offset costs. What we need most is you — coming to events, bringing friends, and helping us to plan new and fun events.
This is not a breed registry (an organization that keeps track of pedigrees and issues registration papers). We hope to coordinate efforts with registered breed clubs and encourage people with registered dogs to become active in these organizations as well.
